FAMILY BUSINESS

A good wine does not start in the cellar, but in the vine, in viticulture and its care. Bodega Manuel Carreño is a small family winery that produces classic and exclusive red and white wines with high quality and in limited quantities. The thirteenth generation that currently occupies the direction of the winery has spent more than 90 years of tradition and know-how in the world of wine.

It is present in everything we do, on earth, in the cellar and in the wine. The high quality of our wines ultimately emanates from the vineyard itself and is nothing but a true reflection of the soil, climate and tradition of the Land of Leon.

Our history

Manuel Carreño Winery is the return to the home wine, the craftsman wine, produced in the family.

Our winery takes its name from Mr. Manuel Marqués, “Carreño” as family name. That horticulturist, known in the area due to his hard work and dedication, always have taken care of his vineyards with the same passion, the same gives the best name for the winery which receives all its production thanks to his own hands.
